The Bear Edge Pattern 103 is an American built 4-1/2” Black & Red Assisted Sideliner. The hollow ground 3-1/2” blade is made from 440 stainless steel with a black powder coating finish. The spring action and ball bearing washers allow the blade to open rapidly with a simple push up on the dual thumb studs. The 4-1/2” black and red handle has a more rugged style but fits firmly in the hand allowing for a secure grip. Pattern 103 has a stainless-steel sideliner lock to ensure that the blade remains firmly in place and is easy to close. A reversible pocket clip is also present that allows for a tip-up carry and quick access. A slightly longer lanyard spacer is present on the back of the handle that is for secure fastening and storage. The open length for Pattern 103 is 7-3/4” and weighs 4.3 ounces. Learn more
