The Blackhawk Low Profile Rail Cover protects your firearm's unused Picatinny rail without adding excess weight. It is made from lightweight but tough Santoprene thermoplastic elastomer. Its low-profile ladder-style design guards your hand against sharp edges while minimizing bulk. It also features a rubberized surface that provides a secure grip for easier firearm control. It comes with enough length to cover 18 rail slots, but can be cut to size to suit your specific firearm. This also allows it to be used alongside rail-mounted accessories, covering the unused length without requiring you to remove attachments that are in use.
