This creepy asylum in Wisconsin is still standing… and still disturbing. Located in Sheboygan County, this asylum operated from 1940 until 2002. It was constructed to serve as a home for the mentally ill or developmentally disabled. The present buildings have a capacity of 225 inmates; the land connected occupies 309 acres. Is this place haunted? Some people at least think so. There have reportedly been ghost sightings.
