Product Overview
The AAP-01 Assassin is the first gas blowback airsoft pistol from Action Army Company. Renowned in the airsoft community for their upgrade parts, Action Army has expanded their product line into the gas blowback pistol market. Powered by green gas, the AAP-01 is capable of both semi-auto and full auto firing modes by flipping the fire selector on the underside of the bolt carrier. All of the controls such as the magazine catch, safety, and slide catch are either ambidextrous or reversible, making the pistol friendly for right-handed or left-handed users. Included with the pistol are two optional accessory rails for above the receiver and below the barrel for the installation of sights or lights/lasers if desired. The barrel is 14mm CCW threaded underneath the orange thread protector, making it compatible with most airsoft muzzle devices and accessories.
A completely new and original design externally, the AAP-01 still retains many internal cross-compatibility with current gas pistols. The hop-up and bucking are standard TM pattern, and the magazine is based on G-series pistol designs. In addition to its own 22-round magazine, the AAP-01 is also compatible with G-series magazines from KJW, WE, and VFC, or any other magazine with the same specifications.

So far so good
After a bumpy start - (bbs were falling out of the barrel when pointing down)I realized that the hop was turned all the way off (after some online research).. once I set the hop on it worked perfectly. Accurate, light, and fast rapid fire. I would recommend.

Superb!!
This gun is lightweight, pretty accurate, with that incredible rate of Fire. I would suggest 2 things to be completely happy with this gun. The mags are empty after 1 second in full auto. Buy a 400 rd drum mag. And also buy the stock and it’s even better.

Out of the box this pistol is ready to be used even my 10 year old really liked it. Its vary light. Farley quitei mark it the 3rd quietest ssx23 being top. Works great with .25s to .32s BBs. Hop is easiest to adjust out of any pistol i have ever owned. And has tons of upgrades it is TM G series compatible its just hard to fined a holster that it can fit into at the moment using a cheap universal fabric holster. 5 out of 5 love it.

Great pistol
The only drawback is the rate of Fire is ridiculous compared to the mag size. An extended mag or drum might be appropriate. I would imagine lube would be key to maintaining the high Rate of Fire as well. Cheapo o rings in the magazines, prepare for that.

Great Pistol for the Price
I'm a pretty experienced sniper and I've been looking for a unique and modular sidearm that won't break the bank. For $99 this did the job perfectly! Pros: -cheap -simple to work on -accurate -customizable -came with an upper and lower rail for accessories. -super fast ROF Cons: -All plastic - 90% of the gun is plastic. This keeps the cost low but it definitely gives it a "toy" feeling for those who like realism. -Orange thread protector. The gun comes with a large ugly thread protector that is orange. The threads on it are already orange so it seems a bit redundant to have an extra blob of orange. To add on vs a solid black piece.
