The power-down cartridges for the ASG Dan Wesson 6mm Airsoft revolvers reduce the velocity more than 50% by simply restricting the gas-flow thru the cartridge itself. This is a fast and simple way to lower the power to an average of 1 Joule or less, allowing the Dan Wesson to be used in all skirmishes and on all shooting range.
