Is there a special someone in your life that loves airsoft, and you aren’t sure what to get him or her?

You can gamble on a good cheap airsoft gun like a GBB Glock airsoft gun replica or a G&G Raider AEG - those are crowd favorites, and can be upgraded or customized.

Or you can just get a few of the airsoft accessories below and give them as gifts. You’ll need to know a lot less about the player’s preferences and most of these make great gifts regardless.

1. A tactical vest

Nearly every airsoft player has a tactical vest since they offer so many attachment points, loops, and pockets for storing airsoft accessories and other gear.

The best thing about a tactical vest (as opposed to other forms of clothing or footwear) is that you don’t need to know the player’s size - just his or her general proportions.

2. Morale patches

If you get that airsoft player a tactical vest, consider getting some morale patches to deck it out, too.

These are small patches, typically made of embroidery floss or PVC with hook and loop backing, that can be used to decorate the velcro portions of tactical vests and packs.

3.Airsoft ammo

Airsoft ammo may be boring, but every player uses it. Most airsoft guns shoot 6mm ammo, so that’s a good bet, and airsoft ammo varies by weight, typically between .2g and .4g (although there are some heavier types of ammo out there).

Airsoft ammo in 6mm between .25g and .3g is a good bet for most players. Also look for polished, one-piece, biodegradable ammo.

4. Speedloaders

Again, not a particularly exciting airsoft accessory, but they make great gifts because they enable airsoft players to load hundreds of airsoft BBs at a time into their spare magazines.

5. Chronographs

A chronograph, or a “chrono” as they are often affectionately styled by airsoft players, is a special type of tool that measures the muzzle velocity of airsoft BBs, in FPS, or feet per second.

These are highly useful airsoft accessories for players that like to perform their own upgrades and mods before playing. They’re also helpful in measuring the speed and power of a gun before an airsoft event because many events set limits on speed and power.

6. A good pair of gloves

We recommend Mechanix gloves because they are extremely comfortable and offer both excellent grip and protection.

However, they are expensive, and we offer many other suitable alternatives on our website. Any player will appreciate a good pair of gloves that will keep their hands warm and protect them from errant BBs, too.

7.Goggles

MilSim and other airsoft events will not even let you play unless you have eye protection, and some events require players to have full face protection to be allowed on the field.

The best part about goggles is that despite the fact that they aren’t really exciting, every airsoft player uses them and they are generally very affordable - making them excellent gifts.

8. Targets

Targets are also great (and affordable) airsoft gifts. But don’t just get any targets. Get targets that make sense.

For instance, at greater ranges, airsoft BBs might not penetrate standard paper targets, especially if the targets are backed by something sturdy. Instead, get something like a Splatterburst target because it will leave a mark where the airsoft pellet hits it that you’ll be able to see from your shooting position.

9. Smoke grenades

Affordable and useful for signaling over great distances as well as creating close-quarters smoke screens, smoke grenades can serve as thoughtful gifts for airsoft players - even if you don’t know what sort of position they fill on the airsoft field.

10. Green gas or CO2 canisters

Possibly the least exciting entry in this list, green gas and CO2 cartridges are the propellants that gas blowback airsoft guns use to shoot airsoft BBs.

They are affordable and they are used by every gas-powered airsoft rifle and pistol.

On top of that, practically every airsoft pistol out there (and most players carry at least one as a sidearm) is a gas blowback pistol. Therefore, giving these canisters (while boring) is pretty much a sure bet.

11. Tool kits

Multi-tools and tool kits are also useful airsoft gifts despite being ho-hum. Most players service their airsoft guns, either to clean, mod, or upgrade them, and some field strip them during matches for tune-ups and cleaning. To do that, they need the requisite tools.

12. Hardshell gun cases

Most airsoft players transport their airsoft guns and accessories in cases, which protect them. There are soft and hard-sided cases, with the latter affording the highest layer of protection.

Every player uses them, and you don’t need to know anything about the player’s preferences to get a good one - making them excellent airsoft gifts.
