Product Overview
The AAP-01 Assassin is the first gas blowback airsoft pistol from Action Army Company. Renowned in the airsoft community for their upgrade parts, Action Army has expanded their product line into the gas blowback pistol market. Powered by green gas, the AAP-01 is capable of both semi-auto and full auto firing modes by flipping the fire selector on the underside of the bolt carrier. All of the controls such as the magazine catch, safety, and slide catch are either ambidextrous or reversible, making the pistol friendly for right-handed or left-handed users. Included with the pistol are two optional accessory rails for above the receiver and below the barrel for the installation of sights or lights/lasers if desired. The barrel is 14mm CCW threaded underneath the orange thread protector, making it compatible with most airsoft muzzle devices and accessories.
A completely new and original design externally, the AAP-01 still retains many internal cross-compatibility with current gas pistols. The hop-up and bucking are standard TM pattern, and the magazine is based on G-series pistol designs. In addition to its own 22-round magazine, the AAP-01 is also compatible with G-series magazines from KJW, WE, and VFC, or any other magazine with the same specifications.

Nice, lightweight, customizable gbb at a great price point. Hop up needs to be adjusted out of the box for best performance, be sure to do so. Waiting for restock, get one while you can.

The aap-01 airsoft pistol
Originally I didn’t like the look of this gun but it has grown on me ever since it’s unboxing. Out of the box it would not fire, the bbs would just roll out, don’t let this worry you because after a simple adjustment of the hop up the bbs start flying out. It would have been more worried initially but I did some research on this gun before my purchase and remember someone in a forum mentioning this. I had purchased a salient arms pistol for 185$ on evike and this pistol at nearly half the cost out performs in just every way (weight, range, accuracy, gas efficiency, and speed in automatic mode). This pistol has many upgrades available to it, you can even 3D print your own parts for it and there is a community of people around this gun. I recommend this gun to anyone looking for a good pistol out of the box, action army does not disappoint

Ok I’m new to airsoft guns and are learning them! Got gun to shoot after dialing the hop up. BB’s not falling out now.... The short stroke kit is still a horrible quality product!!!!

Quite possible the best value for your airsoft dollar in a pistol. With over 20 years of collecting and shooting airsoft pistols, this is one of the best "new" pistols to come to the market in ages. This is Action Army's first attempt at a pistol design and not only do they deliver a really well made pistol, but they also release a plethora of up-grades and accessories at the same time! Unheard of. You can use it as a pistol or, with the appropriate accessories, make yourself a nice selective fire submachine gun, carbine and even a sniper rifle. The possibilities are quiet exceptional. Check out the AAP-01 Owners web sites for some pretty amazing pictures and up-grades. Note: quality .30 bb's are recommended as the hop-up can over hop anything under .25's, .28's etc. . Effective range is suprising. Get your gear here at MIR Tactical and get into some serious fun.
