Nickel-metal-hydride, or NiMH airsoft batteries, may not be quite as powerful as Li-Po batteries, but they still offer players some substantial advantages. More powerful than NiCad batteries, they are very durable, reliable, hard to damage, and less temperamental than lithium batteries. They’re also cold-temperature resistant and don’t have memory. Simple, effective, and popular, they’re safe to use in nearly all airsoft guns (check your user’s manual, though). And, of course, there’s price, with NiMH batteries remaining fairly affordable for most airsoft players.
