The Action Army AAP-01C is the newest design in the AAP-01 line of Action Army's airsoft pistols. This pistol has a shorter upper compared to the original AAP-01 and has upper and lower rails integrated into the design! This pistol also features an easily accessible fire control right at the back of the pistol, making switching from semi and full auto much easier. Retaining its Polymer frame, the design has been updated to include a stipple-like texture on the sides and scale texture along the rear of the grip. The overall layout of the pistol's controls should be familiar to anyone who has previously owned the AAP-01 Assassin.
Internally the AAP-01C retains compatibility with the existing lineup of AAP-01 parts, allowing you to customize it however you want. The pistol functions similarly to other "striker-fired" pistols, including having an adjustable hop-up. However, like the AAP-01, this pistol uses a gas blowback "bolt" system that moves while the upper frame stays in place. This leads to a more durable platform and reduced wear on the pistol overall while retaining the recoil-like gas blowback feature that airsoft players love. With the addition of a threaded outer barrel, you can mount suppressors and other compensators with compatible threads.
NOTE: All AAP-01 series pistol come with the Hop-up TURNED OFF. The hop must be adjusted out of the box as BBs will usually roll out of the barrel without any hop applied.
