The Arcturus ZTAC SV Saiga-9 Shot Stabilizer 14mm CCW is used primarily for the aesthetic enhancement of an airsoft replica and for functional benefits like covering a longer inner barrel or integrating a tracer unit.
This specific product is designed to be compatible with the user-installable Arcturus AMT-C tracer core (sold separately). When the tracer core is installed, the mock suppressor functions as a tracer unit, illuminating special glow-in-the-dark BBs for use in low-light environments or night games.
The design helps stabilize the barrel and reduce vibrations, which may marginally improve shot precision.
While not a true sound suppressor, the structure can slightly alter the tone and muffle the "pop" of air escaping the barrel on certain airsoft systems (like gas or HPA guns), though the internal gearbox noise of AEGs will still be prominent
