BATTLE FOR NEW ORLEANS
After unprecedented hurricane damage suffered in the region, the city of New Orleans and surrounding area has been left largely ravaged and lack of assistance from the occupying COR forces in rebuilding the area has stirred unrest among the populace. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain a foothold deep in the region, UAE has been recruiting and supplying local dissidents and sympathizers in an attempt to push COR from the area. With access to the gulf being a key military and economic asset in their ability to hold the southern territories, the main city finds itself heavily fortified and garrisoned. The exception to this is northeast of the city where the old abandoned amusement park is located and home to the local rebellion's operations. Fighting will be intense as COR attempts to push the insurgents and UAE support from their encampment.
With heavy damage from the hurricanes you can expect an AO with unique challenges, amongst the wildlife and wrecked framework of the amusement park.

A Message from MiR Tactical
Hey All,
We are so ready to be at this venue. This is a very unique opportunity and incredible AO, and we’re excited to host a great event here for you. This event, time of year, and all combined present a great opportunity for gameplay, as well as a few challenges too.
We’re changing up the schedule and how we run the event for this one because of the Louisiana heat, and AO layout. We’ll be bringing additional water (still expect players to come prepared) and doing the most we can to make sure players have a great and safe experience.

The following clothing colors are restricted for players: RED (used primarily for dead rags), ORANGE, Bright/Safety YELLOW (Orange/Yellow are mainly used for safety colors and staff or photographer identification).

EVENT SPECIFIC RULES:
- Use of any 'SAFETY' colors is still NOT ALLOWED for Civilian clothing, i.e. Red, Orange, Bright Yellow, etc. Please use your best judgment.
- Pyro grenades/devices may be disallowed on the day of or announced shortly before the event due to field/weather conditions to prevent fire hazards. (PLEASE ASK EVENT STAFF IF YOU ARE NOT THERE FOR THE INITIAL RULES BREIFING!)
- Please be aware that location/event specific rules may be amended by staff during the event for safety reasons or to improve the experience of all players attending.
- You are responsible/accountable for your action(s) during the event. Treat all players/staff with respect and act with integrity. Mir Tactical reserves the right to remove or eject any persons from the event for violation of the rules, altercations, or poor sportsmanship/character.
