Airsoft Holsters | Hardshell, Kydex, Drop-Leg
A holster keeps your airsoft pistol secured while you run, crawl, and clear rooms, and it puts the pistol in the same spot every time you reach for it. Holsters for airsoft sidearms come in universal and model-specific fits and in belt, MOLLE, and thigh carry styles, so the right choice depends on your pistol and where you wear your loadout.
Universal vs. Model-Specific Airsoft Holsters
A universal holster fits a range of frame sizes with an adjustable retention strap or a wide pocket, which makes it easy to share between pistols. A model-specific holster is molded around one pistol, so it holds tighter and draws cleaner. Mounted lights and compensators change the shape of a pistol, so read the product details before you buy a holster for a modified airsoft pistol.
Airsoft Holster Carry Positions for Belt, Battle Belt, and Thigh
Belt carry keeps the pistol high and close to your hip, which works well in CQB and for players who spend time prone. Thigh carry drops the pistol lower and clears a vest or plate carrier. Pair your holster with a battle belt or a standard belt, and keep spare magazines close in pistol magazine pouches.
Airsoft Holster Questions Answered
Do airsoft holsters come in left-handed versions?
Many holsters are built for a right-handed draw only, and the handedness appears in the product name. Left-handed shooters should look for a left-handed or ambidextrous listing before ordering.
How tight should an airsoft holster hold the pistol?
The pistol should stay put while you sprint and drop to the ground, then release with one deliberate pull. Adjustable retention straps let you tune that grip to your pistol.
Can I wear an airsoft holster on a MOLLE vest or pack?
Some holsters include MOLLE straps for vests and packs, and others mount only on a belt. Check the attachment style in the listing to match your loadout.
